Do Not Hold a Bridging Visa E

You must not hold a Bridging Visa E (BVE) or have held one since your last substantive visa.

Do Not Hold a Substantive Visa

At the time of lodging your substantive visa application, you must not hold a substantive visa.

You must be physically present in Australia when applying for this visa.

Have Applied for a Substantive Visa or Judicial Review

You must have:

  • A pending substantive visa application that has not been finally determined.
  • OR applied for judicial review of a substantive visa decision within the prescribed timeframe, and the proceedings have not yet concluded.
  • Previously held a BVC related to the substantive visa application.

No Age Restriction

There is no age limit for applying for a BVC.
